To anyone watching this trailer, the Zombie Diaries 1 is a lump of utter shit. The audio is often intelligible and the video is also horrible as well. The overall idea for the movie is sound but it is poorly implemented. Don't expect anything like the cover art either.

I liked this, with the whole first person mockumentary feel. More realistic than Diary of the Dead. I also like how it tried to be a horror movie, instead of nonstop action like Resident Evil where so much is happening its not scary.

Loved this movie because it wasn't some over-dramatized zombie flick. It was about survival and humanity, not some stupidly unrealistic zombies who run umpteen million miles per hour. By far the most realistic zombie film I have yet to see and easily one of my favorites.

I thought it was pretty good and I've seen plenty of zombie movies. Usually when I tell people about this I tell them it's probably the most realistic interpretation of an outbreak. No fancy special effects, no huge explosions, just people with a camera trying to survive.

I need to go back to blockbuster and demand my money back! Rented this Saturday and I hated it except for the Goko guy. But my real complaint is the box art which made me rent this, it was awesome but had ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to do with this movie! Do not expect an epic zombie movie with this, its more of the misfigured test-tube baby of Blair Witch and 28 days later. (and i loved 28 days later) The amount of zombies in this film could fill a mini van because there were so few. Bottom line...

I haven't seen this movie yet.... is it at LEAST slow moving zombies like Romero does it? Or is it those super revved up marathon runners like in 28 Days, or the Dawn Of The Dead remake? The stumbling, spastic, tripping around dead zombies are always a hell of a lot scarier than those high-speed running types. The fast ones just remind me of rabid animals... not too frightening.

DotD at least had cool zombies kills, this movie was just all zombies being accurately shot with a rifle, no shot ever missed. They were just normal nobodies with a gun. 80% of the movie was shot in the dark...I don't understand why people think this is better than DotD.... =[
