This is absolutely amazing. I didn't even know this temple existed. I've heard of all the great architecture of the Greeks and Romans but not this. Kind of strange because this is great architecture...
Its a shame such a monument of grandeur such as this was built in a poor-delapidated country like Lebanon. Had it been built closer to Italy it surely would have been restored to its original splendor years ago... as it stands now, one can only pray that an earthquake (however small in magnitude) doesn't finish destroying what little is still left standing.
The place for worship of lucifer. This is why even the US has architecture of this style. The "knowledge" has been handed down to the elect, and yet the masses assume it is over. baal, isis, moloch, all gods of the elites.
@BendoverBernanke hey, I have heard that Lucifer was around at the time these were built apparently may have been the catalyst for civalisation as before we were very primitive then all of a sudden we have buildings of splendour.
I am reading a book that says exactly what you mention about the handing down of the "knowledge" to the elites, very interesting.
Yes, it's a miraccle. The temples were built in a pure stone masonry technique, practically excluding the use of mortare.Joints were strenght with iron clamps which were coated with lead to avoid any oxidation and increase in volume which would result in cracking of the stone.Numerous trapezoidal holes are seen in the upper surface of large blocks. these were made to allow the insertion of a lewis, a dovetail iron decive made of several pieces and a ring used to lift heavy loads.
Beautiful architecture, striking land and warm people. I would love to see this land some day. Incredible structure-especially when one sees the common works produced today and one knows how long these have been standing and still incredible to behold. thx for posting Namaste

This was built a long time ago by crazy genetic mutant giants, who ate everything including humans, and ultimately, themselves.
I wonder what shook the place up?
I mean, it's built pretty much Heavy Duty, no?

Prime example of something giants built...how could they have moved those HUGE stones weighing 5-500 tons (11 000-1 100 000 pounds)
