  • Linkara FTW!

  • Mario getting a "Happy Ending"?

I'm surprised THAT wasn't integrated into a Wii game.

  • the generation where games didnt suck

  • 0:00

  • Princess Daisy's old self. She's so different now. Nice commercial.

  • AWESOME!! I forgot ALL about this game! I recall this commercial just barely! I STILL have not played this game! Looks like a cool departure from the rest of Mario's games!!

  • @rang3r34

Basically it's a semi-departure from the mario formula just like SMB 2 was and was an appetizer to SMB 3 which was the main Mario event to come out the next year and this was for playing a Mario game on whenever or wherever or anytime. SML 2 was better i thought, this is worth a play if you can find it at a pawn shop near you.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, SML2 did look cool! I watched a vid of it earlier. I may have to get both of these and check 'em out!

  • I had this with my gameboy when i was 9 for my birthday and it was such a fun enjoyable game but the sequels were better.

  • just anyone remember the one where a kid is playing mario on the nes. and then his mom says they are going on a car trip. and he doesn't want to stop his game. but then the announcer tells him about game boy, and suddenly he's playing mario land, even though it's a whole different game and he still lost his nes mario game progress? I have been looking for it for a while now.

  • My Gameboy was shown on the projector in the middle of class

  • I got my gameboy taken away in class for playing it lol

  • 0:19 Was that Daisy?

  • this commercial showed mario and daisy as a couple.............weird.

  • 0:19 awww :)

  • I remember this ad. Good ol' times...

  • Man this brings back memories!

  • why did mario walk into a Eygpt tomb to kill the princess

  • @99StraightUpCats99 It was the fake princess of Birabuto.

  • Anyone notice the kid at 0:08 is playing a gameboy with a blank screen?

  • It's a funny thing that in platformers they thought World 1 was called Mushroom Kingdom. It was actually "Expanded Castle Grounds." And they thought the Mushroom Kingdom was called Mushroom World. Truth is, Sarasaland is a CONTINENT.

  • @EatAnOctorok Another funny thing about the Mario series is it's confusing backstory. First, we thought Mario & Luigi were transported to the Mushroom Kingdom from the ""Real World"" (Super Mario Bros. Super Show). Then, we thought the Mushroom Kingdom was this treasure filled city with it's only enterence beeing a pipe (SMB anime movie). Lastly, we thought the Mushroom Kingdom was created by the dinosaur extinction (SMB Live Action Movie).

  • @EatAnOctorok The real story is, Mario & Luigi lived in the Mushroom Kingdom since they were baby's. Plus, Wario was their childhood friend but eventually became their biggest rivals. Somehow, I find Places like the Mushroom Kingdom, Sarsaland, Yoshi island, DK Island, & Dimond City are all connected to eachother. It's like their this big nation or somthing.

  • @TheMisterManGuy the real story is the YI series, M&L:PiT and SMBSS combined. Kamek predicted the Mario Bros would get in Bowser's way so he was sent to kidnap them, however only getting Luigi. When Mario and Yoshi saved Luigi, the three befriended Peach, who even then was kidnapped by Bowser. Later on they got attacked by the Shroobs and got a visit from their future selves who helped them save time. The Yoshis and Toadsworth sent the main bros, Mario & Luigi, to Italy. (continue)

  • @TheMisterManGuy (continued) 20 years later, they moved to Brooklyn, New York to become plumbers. On one job they fell down the drain and returned to their home universe, finding that Bowser recovered from his injuries in PiT very quickly, taking only 10 years to get back to his feet; and so took another 7 years to develop magic to turn a few Toads into blocks. Finally, he tested this for another year, and used it in the next. Ruling for one year, he was easily beaten. (continue again)

  • @EatAnOctorok There's still other places in the Mario universe like DK Island & Dimond City. My theory of these places is that their part of a fictional floating nation that was caused by a dimensional rip in space time that brought upon strange creatures like anomorphic animals, Koopas Toadstools, Kongs, & Yoshis. At first, the humans who were part of this were scared but they eventually learned to live in harmony. I could be wrong but it seems pretty accurate to me.

  • @TheMisterManGuy nope. The Mario universe is actually called the Mascot Alliance of Nintendo. Reality and MAN are parallel to each other. The Mushroom Kingdom is the MAN equivalent of Earth, but with a bigger diameter and more continents. These continents are, as follows:

-Royal Alliance of Plants and Extraterrestrials

-Dinosaur Land (Yoshi's Island being a country)

-Pre-Evolution Alliance (DK Isles being a country)

    -Sarasaland

  • @TheMisterManGuy (continued)

-Jewelry Land (Diamond City being the capital of Light Realm)

-Mt. Horrorshell (this is Bowser's continent, given by Peach as part of the alliance)

-The Two-thousand-year Nation (Rogueport being the capital)

-The Tribal Lands (Flipside being the capital)

    -the Beanbean Kingdom

    -Time

  • @EatAnOctorok It looks like there is more to the Mario Universe than I thought. Still there are a lot of human characters in the Mario series like Professor E-Gad & Pauline. As well as Mona, Ashley, Kat & Ana from the Warioware series. Also, if you look at some space scenes in certain Warioware game & the opening cutscene in SMG, the planet their on resembles earth. Again, I could be wrong but feel free to correct me. By the way, where did you get this info at.

  • @TheMisterManGuy well I got the locations from the Super Mario Wiki, but the names I made. And those planets resemble Earth because it's parallel as MAN is parallel to Reality.

  • @EatAnOctorok Well I don't mean any offense, but I don't think Wikimedia sites are always acurate due to the fact that they're user created articles (Not saying it's 100% false information just some things are always correct). If you played Warioware touched! you'll know orbluon called Ashley an earthling.

  • @TheMisterManGuy but this is a completely different encyclopedia. They have no affiliation whatsoever with Wikimedia Foundation. Super Mario Wiki's host is Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance, meaning they get their information straight from the staff. I even found out about a currently-unnamed Mario game for the 3DS, which will be the first 3D platformer to have Mario's Regular Form from the 2D platformers.

  • @EatAnOctorok OK I guess I'll give it to ya. you know the funny thing is is that even though Diamond City from the Warioware games in on MAN most of it's population is human.

  • @TheMisterManGuy that is probably where Shy Guys go to get cured of their shyness. For all we know, Mario's parents may have been Shy Guys.

  • @TheMisterManGuy (still continued) In the time that he developed the block magic, he fucked Rawk Hawk's mom and so added 7 Generals to his army. By the time he was beaten the first time, they were old enough to fend for themselves and so were trained. Eventually, Mario and Luigi were reunited with their 3rd friend, Yoshi, whom was the only one who remembered the past. Yoshi was a famous writer, known for eating every book he gets trapped in. (I've never typed so much in my life...)

  • @TheMisterManGuy (moar continuity) Toadsworth, forgetting the past, welcomes Mario back as E Gadd meets up with them. It is revealed koopas could actually fend for themselves at the age of 6 months. So back when Wario hired Tatanga, Bowser fucked Rawk Hawk's mom again, and introduced his prince, Bowser Artrawken Koopa, who received the Gaddbrush, because Good Ol' Gadd wanted to keep the series going. :D Mario & Luigi then went to the past to do what had been done to them: visiting themselves.

  • This game is awesome.

I still have it. And I still play it.

    Good old Nostalgia.

  • That game was just ridiculously good especially given the limitations of the console, hopefully a full colour version will be part of the 3DS Game Boy download service.

  • 21-22

    New super mario land

    Pay attention miyamoto

  • If I win it will my world a better place. Lots of people have beaten it and I don't think the world has gotten any better since.
