There was nearly a repeat of this in last year's Carling Cup fixture between Swansea and Scunthorpe.

Swansea had three red cards. Winger Nathan Dyer then went off with a broken toe. Then with two minutes of Extra time to play Besian Idrizaj (RIP, died of a heart attack last year) was forced by the ref to sit on the pitch despite a broken rip.
