@SaberOtaku officially, it wasnt stated that he used UBW during the Fate route, which might suggest that he nvr used it. If he did, he would have won. the only thing he DID do was use broken phantasms to the fullest (all 6 hits in the VN or 5 hits in the anime are broken phantasm hits in order to achieve the dmg score needed to deal dmg to Beserker... mainly cause all his traces are one rank below and making them Broken Phantasm is the only way to increase it back to its original rank)...

@SaberOtaku Archer could've potentially beaten Berserker if he wasn't injured or hampered in Fate route. Gilgamesh and Archer have similar ability of spamming sword rains, unlike Archer, Gilgamesh can't use the blades he possess to the fullest extend, since he's never trained with them, but kept them as trophies. Archer's UBW downloads the skills and abilities to use the weapon into his mind, so he knows how to use em well.

well i finished fate and unlimited route and i think archer is awsome he became an hero but he was later broken and became some1 that doesnt care anymore about anything and hoping to save himself from his suffering

I UWB his story is pretty mutch the same as Sabers life story. Betrayed by the very people he wanted to protect...

Lancer had a lame master and coulden even grant his simple wish of having a good fight(Archer held back agains him and it pissed him like hell).

All the servant have a messed up backstory..
