I'd say either stick to play-by-play commentary like you did in this video or stop the replay occasionally and really go deeply into the nuances of team-centric high level play. I personally like the latter better because average gamers with a couple of friends can really be helped by watching some good play with a good explanation of all that's going through your head.
@swms012 Thanks a lot :) Yeah I was was thinking of doing the "Stop-the-video-to-explain-my-decision" type thing. Getting good competitive games is more of a problem for me though. The next video I have is a FFA on prisoner, I had already recorded it before I even posted this video, but when I commentate it I will try to talk about my gameplay a lot more.
This is understandable. However, I want to see a regular gamer play with all their mistakes then a gamer who would have us believe he's some sort of aim bot whom craps over kills after each meal.
These close games are more believable which the average gamer can/will relate to more.
Who will watch the super bowl if everyone knew which side would win. ppl watch for the ups and downs (mistakes), Because the outcome is in question.
Everybody prefers game chat with analysts before or after.
Good game. For me, what I'd like to see is more close games. Almost all the vids being posted are of guys dominating other teams. I learn next to nothing in these vids. I have a better chance of walking away with a tip or trick from a game that was tough to win, against opposition at or slightly above your own skill level. This is the same reason ppl like watching mlg championships. If your dominating the opposition it just means your playing ppl below your skill. Also In game chat is preferred
@LeafsClutched Thanks for the comment man. I totally agree with you pretty much - I'd much rather post a good, close game against good players, but that hardly ever seems to happen. If I do win a close game against decent players I usually think that I've made to many mistakes to be worth uploading. In game chat is a bit of a problem since I don't have Astro's or anything, so I'd have to record my voice with a PC mic and then time it up. Still, I might do one at some point. Thanks :)
I like how you were full of confidence near the end
