there pretty long, but i would recremend a gsr tranny. i an currently running one with an lsd. and its bad ass! i i never really have to go into 5th unless im going faster than 120mhp...
I love the gears for an LS tranny though. You get Racing Carbon Syncros and bearings and you get a B16 1st Gear and 4.7 Final Drive and LSD in an LS tranny i think i would be pretty lethal setup.
I have a good question, did you have to do any clearancing in the pistons ? Because im gonna be running Blueprint stg 2 which are pretty well the same, and plan on getting rs machines itr pistons.
I am going to upgrade my cams and am hoping to be pushin around the same. I got mine is a 99 civic sedan, it smashes on gsrs and si's all day! love it. Im running the type r tansmission, gotta have lsd. props on the rie man, it looks good.

yeah stock. i want skunk 2 stage 2's and im upgrading to hondata. dont know about what compression of pistons i should run. right now i have aem fuel rail, rc310 injectors, jg header, skunk2 intake man,skunk2 cam gears, type r cams, gsr head, type r transmission and a carbon fibor venturi intake.
Good choices bro. You should consider getting the RS machines 11:9:1 comp. pistons available in 84mm/84.5mm/85mm depending on your cylinder wall condition. Plan on getting 440cc injectors instead of the 310's. Get the head port & polished through a reputable shop... we offer this service as well. :) You should make some good power after its assembled and properly tuned. Good luck man.
Yeah I want a 230 whp setup. The motor has bad valve seals so soon Ill probably tear it down and do it from bottom up. I should have replaced the seals to begin with but was in a budget. awsome compression, crappy seals. I murder'd a crx with a b16, he was pissed that he got beat by a sedan lol. ill probably wait on the port and polish, but i am going to upgrade cams and pistons when i replace the seals. do it all at once, ya know?
you sound smart. so ill ask. heres my motor. 85MM bore GSR with a full RLZ port and polish on my B16 head. toda cams, rev V-train, golden eagle resleeve. Magnus intake manifold, STR fuel rail. 11:5:1 possibly 11:9:1. havent gotten my pistons yet. custom header. thats just a breif listing. ive been told i need 440CC injectors...would you think thats over the top? or good.

Yes it is making your b20 slow, you need the short gear ratios of a b16 or a gsr, or type r. LS trans has long tall gears for fuel economy

Dyno tuned motor today and made 234whp & 159wtq SAE corrected on a dynojet. Pretty happy with the results.
