I just received this new camera and took pictures they came out awful looking like 2 megapixels. I was using built in memory card ( I thought the SD card will come inside the box but it didn't). So do I need the SD card for the camera to take High Quality pictures?
The SD card is for more picture and video, That's all because the internal memory is little, The picture cuality is from the camera and the cualitily of this.

just to let you know, this camera has panasonic's MEGA O.I.Ss, which is OPTICAL image stabilization, NOT digital image stabilization. of course this is a good thing, because digital image stabilation can cause noise.
no it isn't fs15 doesn't have high speed connection, fs25 does. and no face recognition on fs15, only face detection. and no extra optical zoom (fs25 can get to 9.5x on 3mp, not on fs15).

No, no matter what kind of memory you use the pictures will still come out the same.

the fs25 is the same as the fs15 but with a 3" screen and a litter more grip.
