  • 85 out of 100(maybe more i lost track) songs have been in looney tunes!!! who said they weren't educational masterpieces?!

  • I'd think that somewhere, on this list, would be Gabriel's Oboe-Roland Joffé.

  • 84... Somehow the word Enclave came to my mind, but I don't know why ;)

  • This version of Colonel Bogey is not that good.

    This march needs more drums...

  • holy.. 81 was actually a classical music piece? I THOUGHT THEY MADE IT FOR SLEEPING BEAUTY. Mindblownman.

  • mozart 40 best

  • #86 Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel, from what symphony/recording was it taken from? There are dozens of variations of this wonderful piece but I particularly like that little bit played from 0:42 to 0:51 and would love to hear the whole.

  • I can`t understand only one thing, how can people dislike such music?

  • @tblairlovely Looney Tunes' "The Rabbit of Seville" where Bugs Bunnit gives Elmer Fudd more than a little off the top.

  • @tblairlovely How about another Mozart piece... Symphony 40?

  • just to be specific: it's the #83 song (The Barber of the Seville-Overture) from 1:20-1:23...

  • the rhythm of the beginning of the first preview in Rossini's The Barber of the Seville" Overture really sounds similar to another classical piece that I have been looking for a long long time. Does anyone know what it is and who was the composer? When I first listened to the first preview (of The Barber of the Seville), I thought it it was the piece I was looking for, but it was not :(

  • @tblairlovely Try Mozart's Magic Flute Overture.

  • @kickassclassical Thanks but it was not what I was looking for. Does 1:20-1:23 remind you thing?

  • @tblairlovely did you listen to the entire piece? it might be later in the piece... at 2:40 there is the most recognizable melody. Try it if you havent. let me know if its what youre looking for

  • @tblairlovely It reminds me to Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik"

  • is there a baroque series on this?

  • Por una cabeza is my favorite :")

  • i had been looking for # 86 for months and i don't know why. i only had the first 4 notes in my head and i dont know where they came from and it was driving me nuts. Don't know anything about except it was in my head and now i found it WOO......... now to find out why it was in there,my head.

  • @gateway195858 It is Tango's Legend "Carlos Gardel" and his famous "Por Una Cabeza" translated "By a head"... The lyrics sing about a horse race but its related metaphorically to life actually.

  • i have been looking foe # 86, it has been in my head for months and i have no idea way its there. i just had the first like 4 notes and it was driving me nuts, like where is this thing coming from.................... now to find out where its from.

  • s7ymphony number 40!!!!!! i was looking for it!!!!!!

  • I always think of General Patton when I hear 85.

  • @linkage1992: Colonel Bogey's March is actually from the 1959 movie Bridge on the River Kwai. Colonel Bogey was played by Sir Alec Guiness.

  • ..so? How does that change the fact that it reminds me of Patton?

  • @Linkage1992 It doesn't correct that. *BG* That's not the problem. There wasn't any problem.

  • The "Colonel Bogey March" was written in 1914. It was used in the 1957 film "The Bridge on the River Kwai."

  • @kickassclassical I thought it was written more recent than just before WWI. My bad.

  • Many of these songs can be found in old woody woodpecker episodes, or even Tom & Jerry episodes ^^

  • Most in mickey mouse :D

  • great job!

  • In my opinion, both Por Una Cabeza and The Barber of Seville need to be higher on this list.

  • Fantastic piece of work... I admire the effort and passion that was put into making the top 100 list! Good job...

  • LOVED IT THX. i listend to them ALL. i was REALLY suprised to hear "Darth Vader's" theme song in there. hehe. i thot it was originally created for the movie. had no idea it was originally a classical piece.

  • We included one piece of movie music in our Top 100. Kinda feel like film scores are the new classical :)

  • hehe It does work. some movie soundtracks lean toward the classical music style. and the Darth Vadar is very classical. THX.

  • yeah meanwhile john williams is the greatest movie composer next to hanss zimmer.

  • hans zimmer? lol ...what about morricone, korngold, etc?

  • what's films have those 2 done?
