  • Gotta love the Maritimes man !

  • Comment removed

  • i was there when he preformed un the lunigerg perl theatre

  • he reminds me of Tom Petty for some reason, not the greatest singer but really catchy tunes which outweighs the singing. Id buy his cd or concert ticket in a flash, hope he gets noticed ,i see the views are low on here for this caliber of music, he needs a manager or a better one.

  • that must be why this is so good, definitely a bit of Petty in his songwriting

  • Reminds me of Petty too! They're both genius :)

  • Joel is a great singer!

  • @nick0mac wrong --> he's an awesome singer

  • Intro: Bm-A-G-D

    Verse: -D-A-D-G

Chorus: A(blues run) "good things come to those who wait...."

"Got nowhere to go" part is Bm-A-G

  • @hurley007 you're the best.

  • does anyone know the chords for this song or the tabs?

  • I THOUGHT that was Peter Elkas with him! I love his stuff, too!

  • I met him last summer! (after my 5th JP concert, haha) He's such a damn cool dude.

  • I actually like Peter Elkas' performing this song better then his 2 usual backup singers.

  • Both of these guys are phenoms. Amazing musicians with incredible stage presence. Awesome video.

  • Long live Canadian Rock.. and mostly, Maritime Rock!!!

  • Fuckin Eh

  • Hell Yeah!

  • saw him in van, was an excellent show! future classic this guy is

  • Saw Joel in Edmonton a few weeks back and it was just an awesome show. Really refreshing to see an artist have so much fun on stage.

  • Beautiful.. and for anybody who hasn't checked out Peter Elkas' solo albums.. I HIGHLY recommend them!

  • these boys know how to sing a tune...ill never miss a show around the maritimes

  • I'm liking this song too. I just recently heard it on the radio as well.

  • heard him on shore 104 in Vancouver the other day. I liked the song so I tried to remember the lyrics and google him later ...Wah Laah!!

  • Doesn't get any better than Joel's quirkiness....could listen all day long. Too bad the rest of the country is missing out on this guy. WAKE UP RADIO!!!!!

  • i agree. hes my favorite artist. hes so talented and his no where with you blew up on the radio. come on canada, request!

  • Great song, great guy.

  • Does anyone have the link to the interview, if there was one?

  • Maritime music for the win. These guys are adorable, they look like they're having so much fun with it.

  • I absolutely love Joel Plaskett! Whenever I'm home sick for Halifax he always makes me smile. And Peter Elkas is the best kept secret in Canadian music...the man is fantastic live! I saw him open for K-OS in Halifax (my first show there) and then saw him play at Ginger's (my last show in Hali) and Joel played a Springsteen track with him. Amazing.

  • Man, Joel Plaskett Emergency used to be my favorite band when I was younger.

    He's still great :P

  • Fantastic version of this song!
