he reminds me of Tom Petty for some reason, not the greatest singer but really catchy tunes which outweighs the singing. Id buy his cd or concert ticket in a flash, hope he gets noticed ,i see the views are low on here for this caliber of music, he needs a manager or a better one.

I absolutely love Joel Plaskett! Whenever I'm home sick for Halifax he always makes me smile. And Peter Elkas is the best kept secret in Canadian music...the man is fantastic live! I saw him open for K-OS in Halifax (my first show there) and then saw him play at Ginger's (my last show in Hali) and Joel played a Springsteen track with him. Amazing.

Saw Joel in Edmonton a few weeks back and it was just an awesome show. Really refreshing to see an artist have so much fun on stage.
