Interesting. The real reason for evil in this world is NOt the lack of god. That's just religious people exploiting the corruptions in this world, the problems in society and the flaws of humanity in order to rationalized the need for religion and conformity to it. It's all an exploitive reason for religious control. The real reason for the evil in this world is the stupidity of humanity which humanity can change if it can only get its act together.
@Chuloloc As far as good and evil goes, we can't really say that the world is screwed up because of a lack in inclination to a god, especially the Christian god considering that this god is essentially evil. Just look at the old testament and there are plenty of moral/intellectual bankruptcies and atrocities condone, committed and commanded, not just by the religious system in effect but by the Christian god himself. Don't take my world for it. Just
@Chuloloc read it from cover to cover but without partiality and a false appeal to authority but you'll see for yourself. And to any Christian who chooses to blame the evils of this world on a lack of inclination to your particular religion, look at the evils of your own religion first before pointing the finger because by doing so, you look like nothing more than a bunch of blatantly dishonest, willfully ignorant, hypocritical, craven cowards who hid
@Chuloloc a self-righteous banner of vitue and innocence not letting the masses see you for what you truly are and what your religious truly is. Great video.
Evil doesn't exist as a "thing". Evil is really only the lack of God, who is perfect goodness. So that means that anything defined as evil is really just "less good" than God's perfect goodness.
As humans, we are always choosing "less good" things over the "perfect good", which is God. All those "less good" things are defined as evil because they don't live up to the perfect standard of God.
God hates evil and by all means would destroy it, but he's not willing to destroy it because in our human world that would mean our choice to either accept him/Jesus or deny him would become pointless. If he were to take all evil away right now, as great as it would be, it'd take away the free will and faith that we Christians hold. We would know he exist, but wouldn't believe in him without question.
That's why it's not about enslaving peoples' minds. It's giving them a choice until our judgment comes and those who did not repent and take responsibility will be held accountable for their actions. After that, in the kingdom of God, evil will have been wiped away completely.

The problem, however, is that Evil can only be a problem if God exists. If God doesn't exist, neither does evil. So, the premise' beg the question.

This has to be the best way to address the problem of evil.
