I knew there would be an ignorant person who would comment that. Serena is a great fighter and a good player and she has an effective game. Her footwork and technique though, are really bad. She has no variation in her game and its just baseline hardhitting. I don't say she isnt good and she obviously has so many good results but what i said about her technique and footwork is something you cannot deny, if you would know something about tennis.

No one's game is perfect, its about working with what you've got, and obviously she has many other tools to work with, while you're just being a tool.

The fact is she can still out hustle and outplay 99% of the women on tour. Regardless of your criticism, whatever she is doing is working. This point shows it.

And then AGAIN I don't say she is a bad player and she obviously has had so many great results but her technique, footwork and movement is poor. That is just how it is, she makes up with that by having so much power and such a strong mental game but you cannot DENY what I said about that. But i guess you don't play tennis, or you're just really really bad at it.

As a tennis player I realize that like my opponent, I have strengths and weaknesses as well. No one in any sport plays without a weakness so I don't even see the point of your comments. This video was about a great point between two stellar players and takes someone with an overly critical nature to try to pick apart great athlete.

I'm not critical, it's just not too much fun to watch some one with horrible technique and footwork in professional tennis. I think her game is boring and most people that play and like tennis at a good level will share that opinion.

Repeat: NO ONE'S GAME IS PERFECT. Serena herself has said she can get lazy on court. I'm not disputing her footwork or speed; I'm pointing out that she is an extraordinary athlete with more positive qualities than not. You can teach/talk footwork, technique, strokes until you turn blue, but Serena's game (like Venus and Nadal) can't be diminished. There is no perfect tennis player, even Fed has flaws. So what's the big deal about Serena's? I'm missing your point

@mysteriekiller First of all, stfu like you're an expert on tennis - clearly you are not and just making stupid assumptions. Second, every announcer I've heard has said that Serena actually has the BEST footwork, speed, and court coverage. If you watch her in the late rounds of slams when she is really at her finest, very few women can compete with her movement and speed. If you watched the 2010 French Open, then you know that she covers the court better than almost anyone.
