Its criminal to basketball fans but especially to the Hawk that he only got to the NBA at 27 and that their is little extant footage of him in his prime. Easily one of the top ten players that ever lived. Read Bob Ryan's, "FOUL!" to understand.
He(She) excuses, my translator is one defrauds, there are phrases that I do not understand but I am sure that "The Hawk" has left fingerprint, as grand player who was.
I was a lucky man to get to see connie from his first game in the NBA. Jordan was great. So was Dr. J but Connie did things with a grace that was beyond all. John McEnroe said Connie was even the most graceful tennis player he had ever seen. You just had to see him in motion to believe. The U Tube Videos are just the simple things he could do.
Lucky??? I believe that you are more than it... FAVOURED I would say. To be able to see to Connie play there is no money in the world to be able to pay this privilege, since he(she) could have enjoyed me to see Connie in action(share). FAVOURED friend, this is the adjective.
Thx for posting this--he was just a fabulous guy to watch play. He is one of only two players (chet walker was other) I ever saw fake out Nate thurmond into a foul. I saw the one handed rebound live for first time when he did vs. Warriors first year in NBA, and it was unbelievably ahead of it's time. Just a joy to watch as a player.
Above the rim type of player,he brought that high flying in your face dunking style to the nba,and the thing is he was passed his prime,a 28 year old rookie with bad knees

If, he was first one of the players in reinventing the spectacle ¡

@tterrajsirhc His mitts were enormous and boy does he make use of them. Btw, the ability to cradle the ball is what differentiates Jordan from Kobe.

@omnivorous65 and a lil more hops as-well, not saying that the differences end there

Genius. The best player who ever played the game. It's to bad that he didn't get a chance to play long enough to get the stats to show he was a GOAT.

For read in several commentaries, I see that it is the whole legend, it(he,she) hurts for my part of not being able to see it any more.
