@KomaKidz123 Really appreciate that! If singing is important to u, join a choir or singing group. I did choir from 6th grade up thru college. I learned how to play piano, which helped me w/ pitch. After learning how to sing cleans, just apply some distortion behind it - this is just yelling on a melody. The style 1st started in 7th grade when I used to lock myself in my room & emulate LJ from 7dust 10-11 yrs ago. When I heard Two Weeks, I was like FINALLY a metalcore band w/ these type of vox!

screaming generally stays on one pitch and has a completely different sound..

@nfarnham2008 There are no vocal classes that I know of that teach this aggressive style, though I wouldn't be surprised if some do exist. I've been doing this type of style since I was in 8th grade (I am now 23 years old)

@mikey41414141 First, get Jaime vendera's raise your voice (it has a screaming chapter) it has grea, great info on singing and vocal health...Then i recommend getting Breaking the Chains by NYC Rock the Stage and Finally Melissa Cross' Zen of Screaming 1 & 2 and then Scream extra (this cd has the exercises) also by melissa.....the first two are great for singing and increase power and range, but raise your voice has the most info on breathing, warm up, screaming, power..etc
