@gadog420 You would be spending nearly £500. But this is a great kit and you could use a lesser motor and servo to get up and running. Hope this helps.
@inulika Good question. Power is always one thing that can be misunderstood. There is speed and torque. The 35t will give you more wheel speed but less torque than the 55t and the 55t will give you more torque and less wheel speed. My thoughts are if on rocks a lot of the time you may not need the wheel speed but if on loose ground you will. I have run both and like both for the different uses. You also have the option to play with the Pinion and Spur gears too. Hope this helps.
Hey does the Kit come with A servo horn for the 2075 servo ur using and i finally decided XL5 ESC, FS GT3B, Axial 55 and 27t motors, will i need a bec to run this setup and also a winch
@MXRac3r545 Good news it does and two others for the other major servos. I have found it to be very reliable for a high torque servo. It is worth having an uprated one ready to go on when it does though. I would always recommend to always use a BEC so as to maintain power supply to all items - there is nothing worse than being in a tight spot and the servo not working. The castle ones are also not expensive, in the scheme of things. Good luck with the build.
@MXRac3r545 The kit comes with 87/14 and the RTR's come with 87/20 I found with the 55t motor the 20t gave me better wheel speed but fir scaling and the 27t motor you want to fit the 14t pinion should be fine. Hope this helps.
@apple271000 The kit does not come with any electronics. The Tekin FXR ESC does not come with connections either. I have used Traxxas hear but you can use any you prefer. I like these as they are not too hard to solder, have good conductivity and easy to connect and disconnect.
@dvonlangen For the low cost a BEC is always a good idea to help with power management but is not essential. I did not have to fit with this setup and works fine. They are also easy enough to add at a latter date if you feel you need to - I will try and do a video of this in the next few months.
@RCGIGSportugal Thank you - looking back now to this first video I wish I could record again. I think I could have done better. I hope all the links in this video are also useful to find the section you are looking for.
I have now added links to this video to make getting to the sections easier. This was the first part of the video and was not very well filmed - have a look at the later ones, much improved. Pleae give the THUMBS up.
Hello , I'd have a question. What are those green rubbery tire-like things what you show at 4:04 in the sac with the stickers? I have the same car, and I am really curious about that. I could not find it out.
@margit4444 Sorry I should have explained. These are two 'gate markers'. they are used to mark a gap in a course you make and drive your truck through it - like you would at a scale or rock crawling competition. You can buy these on their own too to make a number of gates.
