  • lol just put water in a freezer for 4 hours shke or bang done nice vid dude its harder than it looks to get perfect right

  • i tried this a couple months ago and all u have 2 do is leave ot for 2-3 hours once i put it for 10 and it exploded in my garage and i was trying 2 hide the smell with air freasheners because my garage smelled like corona

  • popular with your friends? you just wasted beer!! thats a foul. a party foul. the penalty? drink all the leftover backwash in th so-called empty beers from your party. since you waste beer, i am sure you will find a lot. beer-waster-person....

  • there is no reason you can't drink the beer after it is thawing!

  • except that all the carbon dioxide will have left, leaving the beer flat... and thus very nasty

  • Who says he can't drink it? Now he's going to perform some scientific experiment where it's magically liquid in 20 seconds!

  • ceejaydubbya im just as baffled as u are!

  • that last comment is jokes!

  • Cool the bear to below 0 (celsius) or water freezeing temperature if you don`t know what celsius means :)

And simply shake/open it and it will freez in a few seconds.

What happens is that the mix of chemicals in the beer + presure will keep water from freezing at it`s normal temperature, but when you shake it CO2 let out of the mix and ice begins to form in a spot. That starts a chain reaction and in just a few secs all of it will be frozen.

Try this at home, at your own risk.

  • Okay, here is the trick:

If you leave a bottled beverage in a COLD environment like a freezer, it will achieve a certain state of matter between solid and liquid, more like liquid so unstable it could shift to solid in an instant. So then you tap it on something, even lightly will do, and the instabilities will cause an ice crystal to form, and the coldness will cause another to form, and another, and another, untill the whole thing becomes solid ice.

  • "A certain state of matter between solid and liquid"? That sounds like BS science to me.

  • Not a bad explanation. The beer is a mixture of chemicals. Any solution-lemonade is a solution, wants to be in a state of total energy-meaning its temperature, spacial arrangement, and position to the particles around it, that is lowest possible. The reason ice forms at a certain temperature is because H2O can rearrange itself; then be at what it considers to be a better state of energy as ICE. The beer's different molecules each want to do different things...

  • ok this is how it is done. get any beer. put it in the freezer upright and untouched. leave it for about 2-3 hrs. once done bring it out and go to counter or any HARD SURFACE floor. simply hit the bottom of the beer to the floor and be amazed.!! show to friends. u will be popular.

  • roflmfao

  • no thats acctually how its done haha

  • i dont get why the beer wont blow up in the freezer or freeze in the freezer...

  • theres no impurities. tap water freezes due to impurities. the water in beer is distilled thus no impurities.

  • how the hell do you do that? that's just crazy!

  • what if i put my finger in it while it freezes.

  • this is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F4 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo weird

  • Turn up your furnase, its to cold in your house.

  • hhhahaahahahah u made a funny

i am very soory i wanna try it soz

  • What use it that? I want beer that I can drink.

  • this is why i hate leaving beer in the freezer too long.

  • iz true

  • This isn't fake; this really works. However, Orbsoalweaver, you should turn on the lights when making a video! It's too dark!

  • lol nifty trick... saw this before at a physics lecture :) Beer is supercooled in freezer to below zero. Because the water is presurised it wont freeze, when you open it bubbles of CO2 gas give a base for ice crystals to form and therefore the liquid turns to ice rapidly :)

  • hae?

  • wtf?
