That man you see in the Movie talking with the women is Karim Elabed, he is Ouezzani and he can also tell you that this video is definitly showing people in the Rif !!

belive me if you ask the inhabitants of Ouzen all of them the gone tell you that they are decendents of the prophet Mohamed and that they are pure arabs. like i answered before. the moroccan goverment uses Rif only to promote other areas, but the real Rif is like before always forgoten and repressed by the official moroccan gverment. thats why Riffians are willing to get Autonomie for their area: the Rif.

this is not the first time that it happend, also touristic bureaus are misleading costummers by telling them they are going to visite the Rif area and to be in touch with the Riffians, but in real they visited the western area of north morocco and these inhabitants are arabs jebala and not Riffians. ask any spaniards they know the difference between a Riffian, or a Jabli or a ghommari

this area is not Rif and these inhabittants are not Riffians. they are jebala and this area is called jebala after the arabs invated and inhabited this area , they are arabs. my question: WHY USING RIF AND RIFIANS FOR COMMERCIAL REASONS AND TO PROMOTE SOME ARAB JEBALA ? i mean they are not Riffians and where they live is not Rif but jebala.

This is Rif, definitly ! These places are Zerradoune, Briksha, Nefzi, near Chefchaouen and Ouezzane.

I don't know why you pretend it is not. But if you wnat I can ask the women themselves if they are Riffans or not and I will let you know their answer.

i am not prtending here. belive i am Riffian and i know my people and the area where they lives. belive me just ask that women or people from that area (Ouezzane, chefchaouen. ect) and you gone hear it yourself and especialy because they hate Riffians and dont want nothing to do with the Rif.

the only thing they like abouth Rif is to used as name to promote their area and to pretend to be Riffians when it comes to tourisme, i am not talking aboputh people but abouth the moroccan goverment that uses this kind of practics.

So if you are not talking about the people you might understand that if the women themselves called their group "Femmes du Rif", they must be Riffan (as you say Jebala hate Riffans, I cannot figure they use this name to descirbe themselves !).

well its easy if you want an answer to your questions , just in 5 minutes you can find it out, by searching on google for a forum dedicated to ouezzan or other places you menitioned, register and ask them this question: are you people Riffians or Arabs? then you can get your answers..
