Worked perfectly, I was about to throw my TV out. I have a slightly different model, more of the front of the TV comes off in the first step.
What I noticed too, was that the paint on all three screws seemed to indicate the position they should be in (when paint was directly on the top) after adjusting all three, the picture quality, not just the color, increased dramatically.
I don't know if the screws just moved over time, or on the 3 moves the TV has been through.
what if i have a more of a pink line which one do i turn?

Same TV and same problem but my speaker panel does not have the two screws you show and I cannot figure out how to get the cover off. Any ideas?

Worked like a champ on my 52" Sony. Now, why are my widescreen edges (letterboxes) brighter and cleaner looking than the rest of the screen?

Either this TV has very little usage on it or this was fixed or newer than Sony's optical block failure.
