well, that sucks... what is that to mean? is that some "we've done it eight times tonight and we're quite tired" version? it is soooo sleepy, no energy at all... did the director see the 1979 movie version and said "yes, we're definitely NOT gonna do it this cool and funny way, we'll make it a lullaby"??? some one ought to tell him, that being original is not as good as being... GOOD!
@GallegoTom you obviously are not a true bob fosse fan. you dont understand what message lies beneath the movements. i dont necessarily understand either but i know its not supposed to be "funny"?? and i dont even see anything wrong with this performance, it is just as great as the movie
I TOTALLY agree with you! They just didn't hit the moves with power. And so many of the original movements got toned down (the lifts, amount of isolation). The fall off the platform at the beginning was so not scary.
This is a pretty kick ass performance of the original, and it's almost identical. Nice orchestrations too, with the exception of the whistle, I'd rather a person do it.
WoW; Pia is better then all the originals of all the characters she ever has played! she's perfect!! (sorry for my bad gramma..) ik ga even verder in het Nederlands..; ze heeft lef, een hele goede nederlandse, duitse en engelse uitspraak, ze kan dansen: echt ongelooflijk goed! en met haar fantastische stem acteerd ze zo goed dat de rillingen over je rug lopen en je het nummer de aankomende weken niet meer uit je kop krijgt.. en zo kan ik nog veel meer verzinnen maar ja; ik heb maar 500 tekens...

This must have been a sub number since on Broadway they did Aerotica on Broadway and barely had any clothes on.
