okay, so i tried this and I couldn't get it. Is this just a glitch or does it really give u gold cross 55 rank? One more question, how do i know if i'm the host of the game?

to get the host u have to be in the server ur self then u get host then u just wait for people to join and there u go ur host

if you have a good connection you are more likely to become a host but apart from that its random

its pretty easy if you have internet access to both console and pc at the same time (via a router). download the rapidshare or megaupload uploader and choose a file to upload (around 50-100Mb). once the upload rate is on a constant level, lets say 30kb/s, start searching a game on cod. the uploading process will highly reduce your connection quality, makin it almost impossible to connect to a host, ergo the game will give you your own room = you host. stop the upload now. 90% success rate.

you don't have to have good connection sometimes they pick hosts that make everyone in the game lag and it ends the game

well to be a host first u have to enter the lobby first. Like for example, if i press domination and I go into a lobby and im the first one there, i am the host of that game. Now on 360 its quite different. Sometimes when the host leaves the system searches for another good host to continue the match. This unfortunately does not happen on the PS3, idk why. I suggest you dont open up your ports manually. you should already have UPnP enabled.

Depends on your internet connection/port and plan.. E.g if ur plan has more download speed that upload.. then ur nt hosting.. if its equal u can host but nt as great as a person with more upload speed, Also if u fix one of ur ports up to be faster than the rest u will be able to host on that particular port and depending on ur country and how poor they are.. e.g fibre optics.. COME ON NZ U FAGZ

You need to have a very good internet connection. If you have wireless then that might be why. If this is the case, try using an Ethernet cable.

Hey man, if you want to host, you have to have great connection, and thats only for team deathmatch and small games. I've got a monster connection and can host ground war with absolutely no lag. My best mate on the otherhand hosted one game of team tactical before and it lagged so bad that his 50. Cal started shootin automatically.
