The words used really don't matter. It all goes back to intent. If you substitute "cheese and crackers" for "Jesus Christ!" used as an expletive, then the intent is still in the mind.
"Hate speech" is a made-up concept, that comes almost directly from George Orwell's novel "1984." In the novel, there was right thought and wrong thought, un-people, etc, etc,....
Freedom of speech has become a myth, in our own time.

there is no difference. there is no difference when saying "damn it", and saying "dang it". terms like "dang" and "gosh" are just replacement words used to allow those that claim the "moral high ground" to curse as the "sinful" people would. didnt jesus say on the the sermon on the mount, that even if you THINK about committing a sin, then you may as well HAVE committed it. saying 'dang it" but FEELING/THINKING "damn it" is JUST as bad. screw christianity's dogma.
