As a Norwich fan this was a depressing night, but what a truly great season this was for us. Imagine if we'd actually won the title..and if i remember right we were 8 points clear near Christmas!
That United starting lineup included THREE wingers (Sharpe, Giggs, Kanchelskis), plus Cantona and McClair! And Ince seemed to want to be up front too!
Much better winning the league like that than 1-0, 1-0, 1-0 a la Arsenal in '91 ...
hard to believe now that United were underdogs in this game....Norwich were a great team that year, and United had hit a sticky patch (and also hadn't won the league since the 1960s, of course). Strange to see where Norwich are now today.
Monday night, 92/93, Ian Darke and Andy Gray. Sky's debut Premier League year was a great one. A similar victory at QPR earlier in the season, shown on Sky with Darke and Gray commentating, was almost as good.
"Look at Ince here, they're going through again, men in support as well, and here is Cantona and thats three!!! you can't believe this!! Gunn is complaining to the linesman, he says it's offside!! we have mayhem here!!" the commentary by Ian Darke is sublime, tears were shed at the time!!

Kanchelskis was a legend. I remember him well, although I started following Premier League in his last days at Man U.

hard to believe how bad the defending is compared to modern football, would give mourinho or mancini a heart attack watching this

Cantona pure class that season. United started that season poorly and never looked like doing anything until they signed him.

Love watching games like this. There aren't many better sights than United in full flight.

I had this video, Champions, back in the day on a red VHS. I really wish they had it on DVD.
