Bad Start.

Horse out of position for 90% of race (Alot Less potential)

Went way to early in the straight.

Learn to whip, whip only in the last 300 yards or so and whip only when your whip bar is full and repeat that.

Do not burn all of your potential if you have no stamina left, conceed defeat and dont whip yourself into last position.

PS. You are bad.

My rating on the full game 7/10

The AI is cheap, many times the horse that goes to the front wins, when your horse is out of stamina and potential it shuts down like a helicopter in the movies that was hit by a EM blast, it's a fun game, love the commentary, love the potential bar, like the whip system since you can control how much potential you can use, but the beginning is BRUTAL with a crap horse, and the AI is CHEAP.

The arrows on the bottom of the screen is where the horse likes to be in the 'pack' as you see in this demo the horse likes to run towards the front of the pack, the longer you stay in the green the more potential you have, this increases your chances of winning, hope this helps

I love this game =D I dont mean to sound like I'm bragging, cause I really dont mean to, but you CAN win at this game. I have gold medals at almost every track, its hard but its a good challenge =)

My tip? Always choose a horse that prefers the ground you are running on, then choose the horse with the highest value. During the race, ride in the horses fav. position. Only use the whip when the mood isnt blue or green (in the zone or happy). Hope that helps anyone having problems winning ;)

the best bet would be to go to the rail when you are released from the box depending which one you are in and if you were to keep your horses strength for the home stretch. Do not trap yourself into a pocket where you cant get yourself to the outside, it's ecspecally bad to get trapped at the rail!...
