@MundyArtStudio there was a study done 10 boys watched violent games and 10 watched non violent games, in this study after an hour the boys from each section were interviewed, cleverly the man interviewing them knocked some pencils on the floor, none of the boys watching violence helped pick them up, yet almost all of the boys that did not watch violence did lean down and help pick up the pencils now that is interesting at least it shows the mindset changes.
When a society is completely saturated by this type of violent, horrific 'entertainment,' only crime and violence will result. It's only logical. Television and films enshrine the worst type of behaviors, actions, peoples, making them admirable, cool.

oh this is true! I myself have never been able to watch horror movies because 1 they feel evil and 2 I liturally get sick to my stomach....I remember my lill bro getting into horror movies like saw and chain saw mascare and so on i couldn't even watch them now he falls asleep to scream i pray for him alot because i know that he has become numb and accustomed to these kinda movies very disturbing now as a mom my children will not only be banned from this but educated on why when the time comes

These sick movies like Saw and others are made because our crazy society keep on supporting these immoral themes in our movies. When you feed children garbage themes of sex and violence in movies you cant expect them to mature into well-rounded, productive human beings. Instead they become a product of their environment.

Its makes me sick how all these movies, commmercials, and sitcoms have caused kids and teens to lose their innocense and causes decensitization. Its really disturbing that these sick producers target young people and this has such a negative effect on them. Granted, parents could restrict their viewing of tv, but it is engrained everywhere in our society, billboards, music, etc. I pray that this terrible situation improves

I don't doubt that some unbalanced individuals commit heinous acts inspired by violent entertainment. The scene from BASKETBALL DIARIES is said to have directly influenced the Columbine killers, however that particular scene in the film is from a fantasy sequence imagined by one of the boys enrolled in an oppressive,dictatorial Catholic school. As a recovering Catholic myself-I can tell you that particular massacre fantasy is common in all young boys forced to attend parochial school.

This video is so stupid. Back in the days during the barbarians humans had no TV but yet very violent. Aztec people didn't have TV when they killed innocent humans for sacrifice. Romans didn't have TV when they crucified Jesus. Adolf Hitler didn't grow up watching violent TV but yet managed to be responsible for deaths of millions. Humans have been violent since the begging of time. It is not the TV that made humans violent, it's the humans who made TV violent.

@eagleridge7072 Back then, groups fought to survive, we dont have to do that now. Lack of education in my opinion had something to do with that too. Today the driving force behind all that is evil is money, greed, and power. If people didnt use those 3 things as the motivation that drives them the world would be a much happier and safer place. Because people strive for those things is a big reason why THIS world is so evil.

My parents tought me well and allowed me to watch TV and i didn't get affected. Sure, right now i dont't watch TV. Because it's boring. @sbj97 When I listened 2 music I heard songs about selling youre soul 2 satan,songs praising satan,songs glorifying violence.This type music has a negative effect on anyone who listens 2 it,no it won't cause every1 to commit a rape or murder but it still negatively impacts the mind.As for who cares God cares.

I am stressed out,angry and I feel hostile also the tv and movies I watch are gory and violent but I never have the urge to go out and do any of things I see. Violence and sex in media often portray the consequences of the actions. I ask why hasnt anybody ever noticed that the bad guy never gets away or lives happily ever after. I know a healthy mind sees the consequences and the defected mind sits in there room alone plotting.

TV, movies have influenced them to think without moral and values. Just look at how violent the youth can be. Where did they learn to be that way?

@DEPROGRAMMEDMMX When i was growing up, my parents had values and so did some other parents. They did not teach their kids tobe like this. Sow hy did we turn out to be violetn? How did we learn this? We learned by what society had taught us. TV shows, movies in a subtle way influenced us. I don't live like that now cause I see things differently. That does not appeal to me anymore but I messed my life up bad when i was a teen.
