@YorkJonhson It could be rough becase I think the anime being made slightly before the manga, I'm probably wrong but I know the time was similar so not much to work on with that. Fillers are always recived the same way by anyone so of course that's bad but I found the manga to do poor for Gantz itself (and uh...well that's spoiling so eh but has to do with meaningfullness) subtle changes in differences for character personality as a whole too (though that may be just the english changes dunno).

Guys there is currently a facebook campaign called Operation Countdown Gantz anime revival project. Its a campaign to convince Gonzo to continue the anime or reboot it. So if you have a facebook some and like the page please i would really love to see the anime continue because it truly was an amazing anime with tons of sad moments that touched my heart.

the anime is good, and i looked for the manga but i didnt like it as much cause it doesnt have color and its a bit harder to understand wats goin on, I hope they finished the anime cause the story is so good, strangest part for me is how it focuses on loads of characters and then they get killed off like nishi (tot he was the villan) Kato and kishimoto ;)

Gantz is searching for "Freaks" so he picks those who have a high possibility to survive (theres like a FINAL TEAM which are surviving alot of missions)

3) You can return to your normal self (lose all memories of Gantz)

The anime leaves off at chapter 90 in the manga. Too bad the anime only covers the very beginning of the series (less than 1/3) and doesn't include characters like Izumi
