  • Where i can buy it? :)

  • I just figured out how to make homemade kettlebells! I'll prolly figure out / get around to making a vid in the next year. Concrete, baby. Can't control the weight, tho. But I like the badass, wild untamed aspect.

  • why make homemade ones when u can just buy them

  • @TheNUTTY117 outside US KBs are ABSURDELY expensive! here in Brazil a single 50lbs KB costs over $150 dollars (more than 250 local currency)

  • nice way of fucking yourself up id rather pay the 600

  • Probably excellent for curling, pressing, or rowing but possibly dangerous snatching and other power moves. Still an intriguing idea.

  • Very nice!

  • it is simply fantastic

now i will go to make one up

  • Cool! Thanks for the idea!

  • everyone asking about the handle: you have to weld (build) your own

  • yo dude, where can i find that kind of handle? there rally hard to find..

  • That thing looks like it would unscrew as you were swinging or snatching. I'd be careful with that thing, you don't want a bunch of iron plates hitting your head.

  • Perhaps that is why his name is what it is at the beginning of the vid :)

  • I agree. Maybe some kind of lock to keep it in place would be recommendable.

  • @IvanDrago187

I agree. Some kind of lock would be recommendable.

  • That's freaking genius. Where did you get the hadles from

  • lol a whole hell of a lot less involved than mine was! I'll put up a vid when it's finished to show all the dang trouble I went through :) Sturdy looking kettlebell mate!

  • this guy's looks nice and clean but not too heavy. I'm trying to build (approx.) 55lb. and a 75lb. I've seen people build them with pouring cement and stuff but if you've got a method that works (without the cement) i'd like to hear it. thanks

  • After I build mine and get to tweaking with the logistics I'll see if I can brainstorm something up. Mine is going to be cement tho.

  • It looks good, but let's have some description of the parts and where to get them.

  • Kettlebells made cost more than you like but they last forever and when used correctly -RKC- elimates the need for any other piece of equipment or gym membership.

  • Great job! I like it. By the way, Finland people are awesome : )

  • Where did you get the handle??

  • dude its great idea, thanks allot from Amman -jordan

  • can you tyoe out the directions? i dont know what those things are?

  • Hi thats a very good idea .congratulations where i can find that handle ? thanks

  • let's see you do a snatch with that thing. I'd assume a hand amputation would be the result. You can very easily buy KBs on email... even in Hawaii, I shipped a 45 lb in flat rate for less than $70 total. they have good resale value too.

  • Maybe in Hawaii, but how about in Finland? I need 2x35lb and 2x45lb kettlebell and my wife need 2x15lb and 2x20lb kettlebell? In Finland this cost 600-700$ plus S&H. But now it's cost only 10$

  • Could we see you do a video of you doing a snatch?

  • 600-700$ are those Golden kettlebells ll!!!

  • @MrCarcass get some from russia! you live right next door and they are cheap as hell from there...

  • this is great. k-bells are sooo much money.

  • where can i get the materials? please help!

    thanks!

  • To make that is simple

one 8 inch by 1 inch bolt, one 1 inch bolt.

two 8inch rods, one 8 inch pipe, and two washers. some welder craftmanship and your set.

  • what materials did you use to make that? that was awsome

  • it is a kettlehandle NOT home made similar to a kettlestack but less expensive.

  • Yo thats fuckin awsome man, i cought it on RT. Good work i can't weld so i think i'm stuck. If i made one with out welding materials i'd use a sand bag and a belt maybe.

  • ricaldr -

If you can't weld yourself you can always take it down to a metal fabrication shop or anywhere they do welding. It'd only cost you a couple of bucks to have someone else weld it. Even with that cost... still way, way below the cost of a commercial kettle bell. You could simply look in the phonebook to find a shop that could weld it up in short order.
