novalogic was relying on their NLSystems branch and US military contract for money. the Comanche system and the future warrior system were cut by congress so their simulation contracts were no longer needed. novalogic has pretty much stayed stagnant and has been strapped for cash. they released about 5 titles on the same engine and waited out the recession. now they are going to try to release this game coming some time soon.

I will most likely be buying this game no matter what, because I really enjoyed Black Hawk Down and Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising. With that said, that looks last generation, not next generation.

the graphics look based off of the same engine and they AI looks the same. Also, if you listen closely, the helo sounds like the typical blackhawk. I hope this isn't going to be another failure.

I was about to make a similar comment. When this game comes out, it will be a huge failure because no one would have heard of it. Hell, who even on the console platform has ever heard of Delta Force? No one will want to leave their comfort zones for a game they've never heard off.

I can almost guarantee you it will hit the selves before anyone, even people following the game would have seen it coming.

And it's true... The existence of the game is not even mentioned on Novalogic.

I think the issue is that this game was leaked whether accidentally or on purpose from day one of the initial conception or the time they started designing the game. Anyone who knows anything about software development knows it can take anywhere from 2 to even 5 years to develop a video game, that's from drawing board to having the game on the shelf. It prob got leaked way to early they just went with to keep there fan intrigued and after all it took Blizzard 7 years to develop SC2

I bet If Novalogic were still active by now they would have been competing with EA's Dice Battlefield and Activisions Infinity Ward. Only Novalogic's Delta Force's series could Rival Battlefield and Call of Duty series.

Angel Falls has been Coming soon since Late 2007, you expect me to believe anything those guys say or even hint at! First of all that's not Angel Falls, thats just a Tech Demo from the new Engine which will be used by Angel Falls. You can see a lot of old models in this Video which are already used in Joint Operations and the Delta Force XTream Series. The only thing from Angel Falls is this plane. I really can't wait to see a Video with totally new textures and Models.

And I'm very certain that this Engine is from Novalogic, I asked a Developer and he has been told not to comment the Video.. guess why...

Yeah thats DFAF. I think its old footage from 2009 though. I believe they are much advanced with the game engine and are finishing up the game. This game will not be a DFX series flop but a full fledged Delta Force game with all the bells and whistles.
