Bonga shows amazing style. I grew up longboarding, made the transition to shorties but I really enjoy watching the SUP because you can noseride and all that good stuff. And the paddle seems to add something - another control. I think its very cool.

too bad you dont know him cus he rarely ever SUP's. the only time i see him doing it. is when its BIG (6-8ft. +), contest(makahiki-the BUFF's or any SUP events) or he's doing a photo/video shoot. other than that he rather be riding his LB, fish, towing in, spending time wit the fam bam at haleiwa or having a few wit the boys in the parking lot at haleiwa.

True, a prick with a SUP is the worst kind ever, but there are nice people that do this and don't clog the breaks. Try it on flat water sometime. I used to mock it till I did it. It's FUN. And now I clog the break less and traverse more....
