@MaiYutsui If you break your psp sometimes the only way to repair it(without sony) is to replace the motherboard. If you were trying to hack it and it broke it may require a new motherboard.

a psp phat 1002 motherboard are ripp off on ebay , you can buy a entire used psp phat and then youll have heaps of spare parts, which is what i will do . plus in my opinion taking apart the psp phat is really easy to do , ive done it once for a crystal case mod trust me guys you should not be scared to take apart the psp phat

Yo, dude i took apart my psp and for some reason it bricked. I got my pandora battery a few days ago and tried to unbrick it but it didnt do the job. My psp is still bricked. When i put in the regular battery and ms in the screen is still black. But when i put in the MSS with a regular battery it works perfectly fine. Idk what i should do.

i dropped my psp fat and now i get no network activity.

everything else is working but the adhoc.

no adhoc and no green light.

when i scan for networks i get the error code 80410A0B and the green light still doesn't come on.

do you know if there is a separate network adapter or is it on the motherboard?

For those who are wondering, hackable PSP 2000 motherboards are for sale on ebay for relatively cheap. You can just replace your non-hackable PSP 2000's mobo with one of those... I forgot the number but it's there and have a homebrew ready PSP at your fingertips.

yeah, damn, i remember having that problem. your mac address is recorded somewhere in the OS but the true mac address is on the hardware wifi chip. so you have to use a mac address "spoofer" and edit the internal address to equal your real mac address. you should only have to do this once. i think you can find the real mac addy by connecting to a wifi source and checking the router for your current mac. if i'm right, it won't be the one that is showing up in your system menu. good luck.

i know what you call it but the screen from the psp 3000 will not work with the psp2000 motherboard and you will have no mic. so what is the point  so if you changed the motherboard and the screen and you have no mic. because it won't work on the 2000 board you would just have a psp2000 in a 3000 case

I was using a really nice set of mini-screwdrivers. I was using two different screwdrivers which I picked visually based on the size of the screws. I couldn't tell you which size they were now.

never replace the motherboard of a bricked PSP unless u know it can't be fixed with a pandora battery

my psp slim got bricked and i used a pandora and the memory stick and i installed 3.71m33 but after im done installing the firmware i try to turn on my psp but it still bricked even though i use a pandora i use i have to change the motherboard

jorgevital89: You probably just need to turn your battery back into a regular battery. If the custom firmware installed fine, that's probably all that's wrong.

hey man thanks for your comment,but let me tell you that after i install the custom firmware to my psp, i try to turn on using its own battery not the pandora battery, but it still brick even though i reintall the custom firmware,i do not know why no matter how many times i install the custom firmware my psp still bricked...

go to recovery mode while booting the psp hold r then go to advance then go to format flash 1 settings that will deffinetly fix it
