If you really want to see an episode that's going to fast so it's sounds a bit cartoony watch the BBC America version of A Good Man Goes To War especially the battle with the poem
has a massive dr who fanboy, let me just say I was worried about steven moffat taking over the show, tell I watched this. I have total faith in him and matt smith.
surely the unknown, the unexplained is much scarier than a full explanation, i'd hate it if the monster was revealed as (insert made up alien name here)...cliche or not...the monster in that episode was human need to survive, the attendant notices that the doctors turns of phrase were being repeated, its not pulled out of the air, its a legimate writing technique, i believe it works.
ooooh leave off No RTD No new who, typical sci fi fan never pleased unless they are slagging off something, me i love both RTD writing and Moffat stuff, Re RTD DOESN'T DO SCARYScary The master trilogy season 3, very nasty, season 4 Davros using his guts to make daleks, The robot angels in VOTD, Personally the dr's possession in midnight horrible, our hero reduced to a puppet, RTD saved who,
noting happens? the doctor is betrayed by the very species he loves, he loses control, his body totally not his own, its really shows that the dr is vunerable and can lose control...its bloody scary, the repeating thing gave me shivers...blink is better biut midnight is also cool
That's true. but steven moffat is a very fun too when he wants to be. should be a lot better with him in charge. Matt Smith should be good to hopefully. a new doctor will allow Moffat to shape the show into the darker show it use to be
If Dr Who is SO huge, why are they screwing us around and not producing even MORE episodes instead of fewer? I love the show, and wold like to see as many as I can before I am worm food. I swear I'll haunt them if they delay too much. We need MORE Dr Who - a lot more and a lot sooner!
because the lead is interested in doing other things than running around in cold quarries for 9 months of the year - he's playing Hamlet in a little while, and so on. I'd rather keep Tennant on, with a few movie-specials next year, rather than losing him for the next full series...
Right, and besides a little absence makes the heart grow fonder. Though I don't think the new Doctor Who production team use quarries nearly as much as they did in the old days. :P
i agree damn, damn, damn ,damn ,damn, damn ,damn ,damn ,damn, damn, damn ,damn ,damn, damn, damn&double, damn.i want series 5 right fucking now i cant wait any longer. one thing i hope they dont do is change the theme again i like series 4 theme alot

@LARGS um, No he isn't. Children of Earth aired a WHILE back. Torchwood is currently airing in it's 4th series. Miracle Day is what it's called.

I agree with the praising of Utopia, but as someone said the way the doctor defeated the master was one of the most pathetic things ever

personaly, the only episode that really freaked me out was the kid in The Empty Child
"Mummy, are you my mummy"
Especially that scene with the typewriter

Utter, utter nonsense. A tiny, pathetic whining minority of older fans don't like what RTD did to Doctor Who. The vast majority love it.
