The first POW of WWII(US Vs Axis) was Kazue Sakamaki Ensign of the Japanese Imperial Navy. He was the skiper of a Ko-hyoteki class Midget Submarine.Which was beached in Oahu Hawaii.I think this clip is of his Sub.
great vid thanks didnt realize jap built 2000 of these what happened to them? i heard many had faults and he men got excited to drop to crush depth when the US and Australian Navie started to hydrophone areas- in a sub that small i could imagine the scare factor---PONG.....---.SLOW ECHO OF A SUBMARINES DEATH
Yes the same sub. It is also the same sub that the Sea Bees in a drunken stupor picked up with a forklift and dropped in the base sminning pool.
