Male Lion Attack Hyena Cub

Why do some people hate hyena's? They have to eat right? and yeah, how they hunt and eat a prey (alive) is sometimes nasty to see. Lions do that also.But ok, I really didn't like hyena;s either at first, but there are animals too.They have the right to live and survive like any other animal.But for this cub it was better to put out of his missery, so the male lion did a good job killing the hyena, but i still feel sorry for the cub.
