Oh, and as for the comment someone made about it not really being green if you buy bottle water instead of using tap...actually if you have the fridges like I do where u get filtered water, or u can buy one of those filter pitchers, and that will take care of that... Or of ur tap water is pretty good, u can just use that.
Actually, you r not supposed to carbonate anything except water...I watched a video on this from the people who makes soda stream, and that is what they said. But you can buy lemon aid and tea flavors from soda stream. Also, there is a trick to releasing the extra fizz before unscrewing it... On the model that u have, all u have to do is pull the bottle upward towards u a little bit while it's still screwed in, and it will release the air for you.. Then unscrew it.
Does this produce hard US bubbles or softer European bubbles? I don't understand if you don't use tap water for drinking, why Sodastream ads indicate you use tap water here, except to skew the real cost of the product. If you use bottled water, you aren't any more greener.

Refills get annoying at the price SodaStream charges, get a real co2 tank and stop giving your money away.
I just my my 5lb. co2 tank refilled today for only $9.73, way less the SodaStream refills.

I tried that. My Sodastream blew up. Methinks it was overfilled by a few PSI.

Aren't you supposed to put in the flavor (or whatever you call it) first and then fizz the water?
