@OoOcasillasOoO I honestly have no memory of what it was at that time (I later changed it a bit). I think the ability was scrappy, but I'm not 100% on that either. This battle is from way more than a year ago

That was hardly amazing. All you did was wall out a few of his poke with a stall-tank. Sure it's fortuitous that you didn't get into a struggle fest but if this were a warstory I don't see it getting better than a 6/10.

Not that you were awful, it just wasn't great. Walling people to death is always really anti-climatic. There were very few really good predictions, it was overall : meh.

@bladingforever You make your team however you want to make it. Focus on the Pokemon first. What Pokemon do you want to have on the team? Special Sweeper, Physical Sweeper, Tank, Defensive Wall, you get the idea. Train your Pokemon in those stats.

As for the EV training, Pokerus, and Happiness, it's too complicated to say in this comment. Message me with your question about it, and I'll happily answer.

@gamelvr1 He wasn't [and isn't a hacker]. Trust me, I knew him well. He was simply so new to pokemon that he didn't know exactly what abilities Froslass can have and made a good [but wrong] assumption. He was just as much of a hacker as I was, he just made a mistake :D

Why does everyone have toxic orb instead of flame orb on their swellow? I much prefer flame orb, being burned doesn't raise damage over time, and makes roost much easier.

@chuddlewinks It's a matter of preference. Also, it depends on how you plan to use the pokemon, If you want to do a long sweep, then flame orb is better. If you're planning to just go out, do a hit or two and then switch out, then toxic orb is better.

@pavichokche but the only problem is, you can do everything with a flame orb that you can with a toxic orb. Burn does more damage on the first turn, (toxic 1st turn- 1/16, burn-1/8) but they do the same on the second, and then the damage is equal by the third. Toxic steadily rises, while burn remains constant. I just think the differences in damage during the first two turns will not make much of a difference in whether or not they'll survive.

@chuddlewinks That is true, nonetheless, as I said, it does make a small difference if the pokemon is one that only stays out for a turn or two. But I do totally understand what you mean :) I think I use a flame orb on one of my other facaders

@pavichokche yeah. Toxic orb is the better choice with Quick Feet, because the ability doesn't protect from the attack lowering, but when it comes to Guts, I like flame orb better.

@chuddlewinks This is because during the first 2 turns toxic orb does less damage than fire and on the third turn its damage becomes equil to fire. By the third turn your opponent has usually found a counter for you swellow forcing you to u-turn or switch. Therefore toxic <damage than fire orb if you are using him fairly early in the match. But it you are planning to make him last longer then you would use flame orb.

Interestingly enough, the only way to have a Charizard with quick attack is to obtain the 10th anniversary Charmander, it comes with quick attack. That's it :D

Honestly, I thought he wouldn't be smart enough to use destiny bond, but other than that, there was nothing that could outspeed and ko froslass at that point without taking significant damage, or worse...at least thats what I though, I completely forgot of miltank's skrappy ability, it coulda hit it hard with body slam, anyway, I stilll won!
