Nostalgic v nice thanks. Its funny how teh cinema ads were somehow different in effect than the TV ones. Yes its surely Terry Scott who did the v brief voiceover for the Suncrush ad - although quite a successful performer he was never too proud to do bit parts - probably needed the money like most people.
@kaferere I got a shock when I saw this. I must have been subconsciously getting in touch with my female side. I only remember the sensuous "hundreds and thousands", but if my mum had owned any stilettos I'm sure I'd have enjoyed tapping around in them.
even the packaging on the ice creams , ice lollies and the orangeade drinks were more eyecatching . may have had more e numbers in them but by crikey those fabs zooms and mivi's tasted better than nowadays . plus they were bigger too , mind the sun always shone and everything was big in those chidhood days!
@Ampex196 well thank you ampex ! great stuff this. it's a real cobweb corner little gem. some i remember, some i don't. but all are great mate. thanks.
@nuipret Many thanks for kind comments, I'm glad that you like them. I received them in the post on DVD-R from David Rayner to upload them on my channel.
David's clips were transfered using a Rank Cintel flying spot telecine (much better than my camera on the screen method). It makes for interesting comparison though.

Wait, Fab was for girls???? Oh crap, why didn't anyone tell me? Now I feel stupid. I suppose my stiletto heels didn't help matters.

Love these ads - picked up a reel myself some time ago (including a couple of the ones on here), could watch this sort of stuff for hours!

@Ampex196 Pretty cool he did that, best to go the professional route if you can afford it anyway.
