they cut it because they needed a fast song after '...Timeless' n '...Where I've Been' so they needed ppl in a higher energy mood for the finale n they thought tht this song would take it farther from tht so they put it on the dvd n collector's edition soundtrack.
ye i heard they cut it because there were to many slow songs in a row, which is a good choice because i would have probably fallen asleep. it would have also made this movie another unnecessary 4 minutes longer
its such a great song but ijust dont understand why would they spend time writing this song and putting th emusic all together when its kinda obvious that tracy wouldnt be singing a song about waiting
Yes, your probably right. The reason this song was cut is because Tracy isn't the person who would sit around and say that she can wait, but the person who would be trying to bust out of the basement. It says so on the commentary of this deleted scene on the 2 Disc Shake and Shimmey Edition DVD. Althought they would have to change it from this prison smells to this basement smells.

that is soooo cute... here i am sitting here... about to cry... i love nikki! she is so awesome! I love how she accepts that fact that she's a "big" girl and lives life to the fullest! she is a true rolemodel!!

Actually, they would have kept it, but with You're timeless to me, and I know where I've been preceeding this, it just slowed the movie's pace down.
