Formation Flying in a Tiger Moth out of Point Cook should be on every aviation enthusiats Bucket List!!

i've flown out of Point Cook many times, dating back to 1975. I checked and a government web site says the land was acquired in 1913 for the army to dabble in flying. It is one of world aviations sacred historical sites.

  • Great, Engine is not GM?

  • where is that place

  • Point Cook Airfield near Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. It's the oldest continually operating military airfield in the world, first opening in 1916.

  • were are the wings at 3:46

  • In front of me in the front cockpit. The Tiger was accepted by the British as a trainer because the front wing was forwards of the cockpit, allowing the instructor easier entry and exit, especially after a bingle.
