He has valley moments when he moves his eyes, but the facial expressions are pretty realistic. Nice.

Uncanny Valley? This falls right into it. It's not a very good animation nor a very good model... Image Metrics, Mova, Lightstage are what you guys should look at if you want to see amazing facial animation.

The phenomenon known as uncanny valley is when we see something that looks so close to human that it could be. However, elements of it are still obviously not human which seems odd to us. It just makes you feel creeped out about the object which looks nearly human.
