Was something funny going on with the audio levels during your set? It seemed like the volume jumped up dramatically when John Petrucci's set began. My girlfriend (who came exclusively to see you guys) and I were a bit disappointed by that.

Know what I love about watching you, Paul and the guys play..? Even though it's Paul's thing you're all outstanding and you all play together and even though it's mainly based about Paul each band member respects eachother's ability and all plays together and has a lot of fun. It's real nice to see :) Like for every crazy lick Paul throws out you have a fill to match! :D

Paul Gilbert's original part in Scarified was string skipping iirc, while Bruce's is all sweeps.

there are two ways to play the song, string skipping and sweep picking. It was written in sweep but when paul left he took the song and played it string skipped

Nice vid. I'm a little confused though... I had the honors of attending 2 of the G3 shows this tour and at both shows, the ropes were only hanging down during the Joe Satriani set & the encore (jam). Yet, in some of the shots (especially close-ups of Mike) the ropes are visible. Does this mean that this is a montage of multiple shows? How much was recorded and is there any change more will be released? I'd love to hear more soundboard audio. (esp LA or Anaheim)
