@EdSabbath yeah i see, so I am in the U.S and I have a 97 Corolla too and i was thinking about doing this swap, but to do this swap the engine and transmission cost about $1900 and It is too expensive to for me to afford so Im planning to trade the corolla in for a 95 honda civic i saw and do the b18b1 swap for that car becuase mods are way cheaper and so is the engine compared to the 4age swap

@WeHaveSteeze I reccomend the Civic, mainly being a Honda guy myself. Right now I've got a '90 hatch project that I'm building a D15B2 for (I'm trying to see what I can get out of the D-series, non-Vtec). I had an Integra with a B18B1/S80 LSD that I got off someone (He was going for a Vtec swap) and I fixed the B18B1 in it (Broke the crank pulley). It ran strong. I'd definately reccomend the drivetrain setup for a Civic. Good luck.

Hi, yes you can make it pop. Easy way to do this is make it run richer, more fuel than air in the air fuel mixture ratio.

But be careful, if you make it run too rich youll ruin your engine.

You can use a fuel pressure regulator to do this.

A sport exhaust with a decat would also help. If your still confused jump on a corolla forum

Ive heard about some problems with the blacktop, particulary with the rods even under normal wear. Silvetops are better for tuning, blacktops have slightly better response stock.
