My mother went on this ride years ago, and she said the pipe organ from the movie is not in the sub. She also said most of the props for the movie was not on the ride.
the submarines are not gone they just remodeled them and if u look when u go on the nemo ride there are different names on each sub on one i saw Nautilius :)
sure it's closed now and the subs are gone but wouldn't it be something to have an exact replica or an origional sub from the ride!! I wish they remake the ride in the US, i never got to ride it but I've seen the origional pool and tracks where it was and now is something less worth-while. in my oppinion that was one of the now closed disney rides that had the most popularity. DANG YOU DISNEY!! (i still like you though lol). And yes i posted twice but i wanted to share the story on the ride. ^_^
I've seen videos. It was an okay ride, but you didn't miss a great deal. I do wish they'd do something with the area though like a Little Mermaid ride. I'd love to see that :D
There's a big story on it but I'll make it as short as possible: It was fisrt closed for "refurbishment" but about two years later they decided it was too hard to fix always and the people whom fixed it hated the repetitiveness of fixing it all the time. So it got drained, the subs had different fates some unclear to whom except to Disney, and got paved over and is changed to something else in disneyland and part of the area in -world is now part of a Pooh playground thing.
Awww I remember ours at Disneyland then they closed it down, took out the subs, and drained the water out (a crack formed in the wall). Now in it we're getting the Finding Nemo Ride.
The organ from the Disney movie is now in the Haunted Mansion at Disney land.

aww..why'd they take it out?

might've been losing popularity. I mean, how many people actually know the movie this is based on?

I think Arial's Grotto is in that area now too. I hear they want to expand on it also. I hope so. I hope that means "Little mermaid ride" ^^

The Grotto is Still There, But They Reduced The Lagoon To Make A Playground Modeled After " Winnie The Pooh. "

It's a shame they took this out. I always loved it and Mr.Toads Wild Ride.
