@roscoe750 Aw excellent.... I used to have cassettes of him in the 70's..... he was class....!! The one about the brothel and how he could tell which nationality the "clients" were. See that man running up to the hoose..... he's Russian, and that man coming oot.... he's Finnish...... and then Hector, "Whit aboot that man still inside....?" ....... "HIMALAYAN" and how the Chinese were very political, they even had an election before breakfast..... Yer grandad is sadly missed....

My father knew Hector well. He said he was a consummate professional and a lovely bloke - perfect gentleman. Sadly missed.

seen Hector nicol lots at the ahsfield club glasgow especialy the men only nights you couldn,t tell him a joke he knew then all simply the best.

I saw Hector in the Manhatton Bar in Arbroath once. I remember tears running down my face from laughing. God bless him!

Thank you very much as a Sassenach stranded in Glasgow 1983 Hector gave me a great deal of pleasure.
He is sadly missed pity more people south of the border didn't catch him - a true genius.
