  • I can't stop watching this hahahaha

  • I love that this parent can't even get the thing to start lol

  • baby wth is this ... oh music its not all bad dada da tata ta ta ahhhhhhhhhhhh crh xcgr vz nyaaa maaaww omg omfg this is shiz ahh i pooped olo ahhh

  • Aww LOL. When I was a kid I was terrified of balloons.

  • Würde das Kind so anfangen vor mir zu heulen würde ich es mit einem gezielten Handkantenschlag auf die Halsschlagader zum schweigen bringen.

  • @Naseweis1990 BIST nicht ganz dicht oder was

  • She's so Adorable!!

  • jack in the boxes were designed to scare the shit out of babies.

  • People saying that the parents should go to hell and such should take a chillaxative...a jack in the box isn't serious enough to get pissed at the parents.

  • They JUST showed this on ABC News lol.

  • "Wow that's a pretty song. Is this box making that song? I love this box." POP! "What the fuck?! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

  • I would of recorded the video too! It is priceless!

  • Hi I seen this on GMA, priceless! There was a newer on played also, that was priceless as well.

  • @rnsone when did they play it? They told me they would show it on Thursday, but I watched and watched and it never came on. I thought they cut it all together. I can't find it on their website.

  • Fliping funny!!!

  • so epic lmao

  • FreshTillDeath brought me here lol

  • My first reaction to the idea of this video is what kind of parent willingly sets up a camera to tape something in which they know their child is about to be scared out of their mind...that is truly disgusting....

Then my "high and mightyness" goes all out the window when I bust out laughing while watching it lol

  • better to be scared for the first time safely in a familiar environment, then to be scared for the first time by a spider bite or a car muffler backfiring.

  • this was on tv

  • tehee I'd be scared too! XD

  • Oh for goodness' sake, it's just a Jack-in-the-Box. It's meant for kids, and hundreds of thousands, if not millions of kids, had been scared/surprised by one at least once in their life.

Kids aren't made of glass you know; Scaring or surprising them, whether accidentally or on purpose isn't going to 'damage' them. In fact, being too over protective is even worse!

  • Freakin aww! hahahaha

  • @Everyone. Thumbs down Laluilos comment up top. That should not be a top rated comment. He/She is just a whiny bitch.

  • Anybody getting MAD over this VIDEO shouldn't be parents. Like Trinity said, babies get scared over the simplest things. It's not hurting them. Do you get a scare rush on a roller coaster? You Keep doing it though right? Babies just dont have the knowledge of the element of surprise. It would be one thing for her to do it over and over and over but she didnt. Ya'll need to calm the hell down.

  • Poor little girl, but yes, her reaction was priceless!

  • Y'all need to chill out with the uptight attitude to this vid, I was once babysitting a 10 month old baby and she farted really loud, looked around nervously with eyes wide open and then started bawling cuz she apparently scared her own self with the sound of her own loud fart...so hey, kids that age scare easily and ya know what...it's hella funny to watch...thanks for the laugh jenweisiger..if i had a camera i'd have recorded that moment with the baby i mentioned in this post.

  • @TheVillcat I know right? People need to chill. They should know that babies get scared with almost anything. I once knew about a girl who was afraid of her own shadow, and she wasn't even an infant like this one. Lol, people are wayyy too uptight. =P

  • keep pressing 9 then press 8 lol

  • @NickelodeonRewind2 can someone explain these type comments to me?

  • @jenweisiger It's Like When You Press It, It Plays A Certain Part In The Video.

  • @jenweisiger the video is broken down into I think 9 parts, not sure but if you press a number on your keyboard (not the ones on the keypad) it will take you to that part of video.

  • I hated those things when I was little. I would never subject a baby to it. Anyone who thinks it's funny probably shouldn't be allowed around small children.

  • She's so cute!

  • wutt a pussy

  • She's not scarred for life. She loves watching this video of herself and having it to keep for the rest of her life was worth the 15 seconds of crying. I didn't play the Jack in the Box over and over, just the 2 times, and obviously I stopped filming immediatly so I could comfort her.

  • @jenweisiger This was so cute... No need to explain. You can cough and a baby will jump and be afraid. She'll be laughing at this soon and happy you were recording. =)

  • Ctfu.!

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand: Another parenting fail on Youtube.

  • Nothing funny about it!!!! I can´t understand parents who does stuff like this on purpose and upload it on youtube! How old is this kid? 1 1/2`?? Stupid!!!

  • @glombo

Why are people such cry babies these days ? Its a classic baby / childs toy and has been around for a long time , It is suppose to scare you ...

Its people like you that get all the warning labels etc. put on toys and make it so that things can't be made .. Because people like you cry and bitch over NOTHING

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

There are lots of studies regarding the child's brain, which is in the process in the early years of his links to his experience. It is the responsibility of adults to ensure that no damage to the brain are supplied. To create such a state of fear, so that adults are shortly amused, means that the child produces unnecessarily stress hormones and this experience is manifested.

  • For an older child who has completed his brain connections, the toy is not as harmful.Perhaps it is so curious and tried it again and again to see from what happened. Although such a toy,I still do not find particularly charming.Parents should, besides their love for their child, have a bit depth of knowledge to support the growth of their child and not damaging it unnecessarily.

  • @glombo

Im not even going to reply , Do you walk about wrapped in bubble wrap so you don't get injured ?

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

No, I´m talking about u have to take care of the brain the first three years of a child

and don´t scare it on purpose!

  • @glombo

If you don't get scared as a child then you have a boring childhood...

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

Believe me, the world of an one year old child is never boring! There are so many things to find out and experience! In the first years a child don´t need entertainment but a routine, carefull and friendly environment, so the brain can connect in peace. After that, if you want it so bad, go and scare your child...

I don´t say that this child is damaged for life, but it is unnecessary to do stuff like this just because you need something to laugh at.

  • @glombo

Why am i typing back to you ? Your stupid , I could not even start to explain in the small comment box you get ...

  • @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN

Maybe you had been scared to many times as a child, so that you can´t understand commen sense or scientific brain research :-D

  • @glombo Good Grief! I don't go around scaring my kids all day long. There is a difference between a "state of fear" and having a toy pop out at her. If I'm going to keep my children in an evironment entirely free from fear I'm going to have to keep them indoors for the month of October, because they have been more afraid of random Halloween decorations than that jack in the box. Never allow them to see dogs, and not flush the toilet because those things scared them for a while as well.

  • @jenweisiger

If you still don´t understand what I´m talking about when i say on PURPOSE then I don´t know..., you´ll never know! If u know that your child is afraid of the sound of the toillet or what ever, then you don´t go there with her an do it on purpose to scare her, do you? I just don´t get why you scare your little child, just for a laugh, that´s it! I won´t do it, cause for me it´s not necessary... I never said that you´re a bad mommy or something! I´m sure your not!

  • @glombo I understand, I just see a difference between purposefully scaring her once with a toy and purposefully scaring her in other ways, I don't mock my children's fears. I don't force them into scary situations. I don't let them watch tv shows that might scare them, I'm careful with them around dogs, I avoid Halloween aisles in October, I have my daughter plug her ears when I flush the toilet. But I'm being demonized over a 30 second video I never expected to become so popular.

  • aaaaaw haha. tbh... I would have done it too lmao

  • Press 9 for the horror.

  • Oh god, I lol'ed at the end. :D

  • to all whiners who say "scarrd for life" and shit like that.. gtfo..

  • Oh How I hate those toys! Really! I could jump right now and I'm 16! :DD:D:D

  • This is how "The Joker" was born in Gotham city.

  • scarred for life

  • awww poor baby !!

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • and this how the weasel cereal killer was born. tehe

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww :3
