This is what S.T.A.L.K.E.R needs - a full size Pripyat instead of just few streets.

Well vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R lacks a lot of the features that the developpers promised to include.

You might want to try a few mods that brought back many such features (sleeping, vehicles, realistic weapon names and damage).

My suggestion would be to try the "Oblivion lost" mod.
