@hoi1ik Selucide empire of Rome total war are Greek as they were in history. They took over when Alexander died as the eastern part of his empire and fought for succession. They were later taken down by Persia. Closest thing to Persia in Rome total war would be Parthia.

The Spartans only lost because they were flanked, Leonidas died on like the 2nd day and the remaining troops ran to the phocian wall to defend it and died there, there was only like maybe 700 remaining at the wall and there WAS 300 Spartans, but they had like 1400 Thespians and Acadians to help them or something like that, but the backbone of the fight was the Spartans for sure I say. One last thing for the people hating because it's not the Persians... It's ROME TOTAL WAR not GREEK.

Yes, the Spartans didn't have 30 000 soldiers, but I said there were 30 000 soldiers fighting on the Spartan side, including Arcadians, Teagens, Spartans and others. On the Persian side I did make a typo, they were about 700 000 if you include the non fighting elements and peasants... PS: I am far from thinking that 300 was historically acurate... by the time i scarred them into regrouping at their town center had lost both my cav units and looking at my chances of winning i figured i would put the rest of my men in formation to increase enemy losses.... they began attacking me fullheartedly, and slowely i beat them back from the gates. after about 25 minutes i had them beat back to the town center where the remaining 40 men (in total) i had left finished off the last of them. the score screen said i killed 867 guals with no survivors :)

today i was playing campaign and a small detatchment of my army was seiging a town owned by gaul. they attacked me before reinforcements could get there so it was 4 depleted units of praetorian coharts and two lioganary cav. (about 200 men) versus their army of 800. the only advantage i had was that i could charge their gates before they got out of the town. but after i slaughtered the first 3 units they stopped coming out..... i busted my way in and scarred them back to the town center (PART 1)
