I have always liked Grimlock, dating back to the original Transformers cartoon, back in the 80's! He, along with the other Dinobots were always kick ass!

GOD, wats with all the long posts??? I feel as if I have to make one. So....... Grimlock is awesome character. Not the best portrayed in this cartoon but still good. I really wanted to see this guy and the dinobots more. I hate how they bring in new and awesome characters and only have five minutes of fame!!! O-well at least we have TF Prime and it's upcoming Dinobots. Sorry if I spoiled the news for anybody. :{)

One of the biggest disappointments I had with the show was that the Dinobots never joined the main Autobot group proper.

I was really looking forward to seeing Grimlock have some sort of one-on-one fight with Megatron.

That wouldhave been a good fight. Having Megatron fight someone whose just as strong as he is would have been interesting to watch.

@SamanthaVoorhees Thank you for proving that you'll never go broke pandering to the lowest comon denominator. I hate the style it was drawn in & while the writing had so much potential they wasted it on cheap cliches.

But hey there's something from G1 in the backround so it must be good!

If you liked it fine, but the cheap & goofy whay it came off just irritated me. I'd rather see episodes that focus on the autobots & decepticons instead of the big dumb one feeling sad cause he cant paint.

@daveh013 Just wondering, how come you hate the style? And yeah, I agree that some of the episodes are incredibly cliche and I had to ask myself, "What the heck did I just watch?" Also, it could have been the whole cartoon writing industry going down the drain.

Once again, I agree with you on how it presented itself and I'd rather have seen more Decepticons than the 4 they focused on. However, I didn't mind how they presented character development, even if it did involve Bulkhead painting.

@Sorida777 It's not exactly that I hate the style, I liked it in shows like Ben 10 & Generator Rex, but with Transformers they just scraped the bottom of the barrel & wen't overboard making everything look cheap & rediculious Other shows that use this style strive for at least some quality but TFA was just "OK whatever you can fart out quick"

Then "oh the toys are so show acurate", thats nothing new on DETAILED designs, Animated lacked intricate designing so really how hard could it have been?

@daveh013 Ok, I see. While the character designs weren't that detailed, you (not specifically you, but generally) do have to take into account the network. Cartoon Network, generally, doesn't like spending a lot of money on their cartoons. The budget could have been a contributing factor to the overall simplistic design scheme. Nearly every show on Cartoon Network relies on some sort of animation trick (ex. simple designs, fewer frames per second, etc.). But, I do agree on the point you bring up

@Sorida777 True on Animated they just seemed to emphasize the cheap to the point where it became insulting. Take Teen Titans, the show started off with a cheap, but acceptable in style & the animeish deformed bits made for a nice joke. As that show progressed, & the joke became the norm, it became unwatchable.

Ben10, Gen Rex, Young Justice, cheap, but they maintain a quality & consistency that isn't jovial to the point of condecending

Even the kids I know didn't like it compaired to past series

@daveh013 Yeah, it did. Even so, it did have some points that elevated its position. I did enjoy the voice acting and, as I said before, the characterization. They did have some of the G1 cast resume their roles, even if for a brief amount of time. Jeff Bennett, Bumper Robinson, David Kaye, Tom Kenny, Tara Strong; they had a great cast. And I did like that Bumblebee could talk like in G1.

But yeah, it could have been better.

@Sorida777 The high points in Animated where really what made it all the more sad for me. All the potential the show had, the writers the talent & they went goofy instead of good. As a creative person myself, that was just a hard hit.

As for TF Prime, I don't like the way the faces look markered on & Mikko is annoying to no end. I'd love to see more of the Decepticons, I like that they aren't being portrayed as goofballs. The serious & fun yet practical edge is making for a good but slow series.

@daveh013 For me, it made me keep watching. The potential though; I wish it had been different. Sometimes, I wish people would stop giving it so much grief. It was there to show us the characters in younger forms and that's what it did. Could have been beter, but did it's job.

Oh man Miko. I don't mind Jack and Raf reminds me of Gordon Freeman, so he's alright. But Miko is so annoying. I'm in pretty much total agreement with you. I like the voices, but I'm still getting used to Ratchet's.

It does go both ways. People who outright say they hate a show and everyone who watches it is stupid just show that they have nothing better to do with their time than to insult said show and people.
