you can get those 2 O-rings in the hop-up in about 2 minutes with some clever handwork with a pair of tweezers and a pin with one of those plastic balls on the end.
Does anyone know what size the screws that adjust the hopup are? I know there is a repair kit, but I only need one of the screws so spending ten bucks for a screw is a little wasteful.
do you have to buy a bucking for the PDI hop up...because i bought the whole hop up but not a new bucking, thought it came with one. can anyone verfiy if it comes with one or now?
Hey, I am having a problem with getting the inner barrel of my utg l96 out. I've tried pushing it with my thumb, using a screwdriver to push it, lots of force, etc. I even tried pushing a long rod down between the barrel and the inner barrel to push the foam rings, but it feels like I am going right through them! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Would I be able to buy a Madbull Ver. 2 6.03 precision inner barrel for UTG MK96 and a PDI hop up for type 96 and have them work together? Or does a PDI hop up chamber require a certain 70 dollar tight bore barrel instead?... I would just rather pay 35 dollars for a barrel because then its like you are paying 70 dollars for a piece of metal with a hole in it... Anyways, please help. BTW I have the UTG MK96 not the Maruzen but that has nothing to do with my question.
Basically the little rods are adjusted with two screws in the chamber they push down on the cylinder which in turn pushes the hop up rubber into the barrell.
The beauty of the PDI is that because you have two adjustements you can put an angle on the hop up rubber protrusion and therefore create spin on two axis of the BB.
your missing your bucking....the pdi hop up system doesnt come with one -stated in the video. you need one it fits over the barrel- shown in the video
Ok I got this chamber but i want to know what barrel is good but i dont want to drop 150 for the pdi tightbore barrel. What other barrel is good for this chamber and where can i get it and the bucking?
sorry buddy, the only decent barrel that's 6.01mm is the PDI 495mm barrel. when you get that, you must the the PDI hop up chamber or else it won't work, then get a Prometheus HARD TYPE bucking. not a SOFT type bucking.
Actually it can. And the reason you would do so is to make it BETTER. What if you bought an AGM L96 and replaced it all with FF, PDI, Guarder etc internals. It would be just as good performance-wise as something you pay 3x more to do the same thing to- Maruzen.
erm...i am guna sound really stupid but exactly what is hop up and what does it achieve i have just got into airsoft..please help i know im dumb lol..don't comment on that
Hop up is how much spin is placed on the bb to either make the bb go higher or lower. it can be controlled by turning a hop up wheel or tightening a screw depending on the gun.
...I went through 2 of these damn PDI hop ups. They were not accurate at all with a 300% spring firing at 550FPS. >.< So...changing inner barrel and hop up for KN or JP. Good vid, though.
Ordered it online. I think it was redwolfairsoft or dentrinityshop. NEways, my piston nozzle has severely scraped by the PDI hop up, which caused a large seal leak, hence the 550FPS with the 300% spring. Beastly spring, though. Can build muscle just cycling the bolt. Lol
He doesn't have an sp300 spring. He has a PDI 300% (they number theirs differently. It's probably along the lines of a 210 or a bit better (considering he gets 550 even with a major leak).
I only get about 515FPS out of my Well L96 with an M170, but I don't think I'm done upgrading. I haven't stuck an even tighter bore barrel in it yet and I have an aluminum cylinder, not teflon, and my PDI hopup and FireFly bucking are in the mail.

The seals are pretty easy to get in, use this method and it doesn't take 45 minutes.
First use the tip of the allen key to find the wells and/or a bright torch so you know where they are.
Stick the entire seal in the entry, it'll bunch up at an angle. Use the allen key to get on edge in the well.
Once one edge is in run the allen key around starting from the edge you got in first and volia the entire thing is in the well.
Never done one before took 5 minutes to get both in.

this hop up can be installed in a AGM L96 Sniper ?

no, and why would you even bother putting a 70 hop up in a 100 gun?
