OMGoodness! This is my most favorite place in the world. I lived in the south of France and I studied at the University in Aix in 73-74. I never wanted to come back home. I'm sure it has changed considerably by now but back then, it was so full of history, mystery, and romance. So many places to visit and things to see.

Interesting but I know he's an American because he says "folks" instead of "folk" The latter word is already a plural and doesn't need an s (except in the US maybe where it is word popular with politicians and advertisers)

Moi, j'ai passe l'annee scolaire a Aix il y a 30 ans... Faut avouer que j'ai passe la plupart de mon temps a la piscine, les calenques, et le cour mirabeau qu'en classe, mais j'estime que cela m'a fait du bien. Nous avons gagne un tournoi de basket aussi. Ah, les bons temps.... passent les jours, passent les semaines, ni le temps perdu ni l'amour revient....

Aix is a great place. They were renovating Cours Mirabeau when I was there so I never got to see it in it's full glory.

I'm speechless.. I was in Aix when I was on my easter holiday and we stayed in Orange. But one day when the wheather was just as it was in the video we visited Aix and I was in exactly the café you showed, walking down that cours mirabeau and I LOVED it ! Aix, I MISS you!
