i had the pleasure of driving this car this weekend after my graduation party. it was parked in my neighbors driveway and everyone that came to the party was so impressed by it and jealous that i was going to drive it... let me tell you it is incredible how fast you get going without even noticing.. i was going 110 down the highway and 70 down a curvy mountain road.. my other neighbor has a red convertible Ferrari F430 and its not nearly as eye catching as this car

Nah; the 'slowest car' bit is used to get the viewer thinking. It adds more of an impact when you understand the second, intended meaning of it.

Simply hoping that the viewer will interpret this to mean "took the longest time to build," given the visuals, doesn't solve the problem. They might have as well said "potato" and expected the viewer to get the message.

The Diesel version is not sure to come out, but if it does, its gonna be around 550hp & 900 ft/lb of torque.

They tried a prototype of that engine with the normal R8 manual transmission and they couldn't rev it higher then 2000 rpm because the massive torque would have torn apart the gearbox, lol.
