Guys why dont you try with avast the threat fire (free) and install your firefox with WOT or web of trust. I think that would be nicer security

avast is so much better than avg, avg always ends up having a problem somehow. but this new avast is very nice, im glad they got rid of the old cheap looking little interface, it looks fresh and runs smooth.

I did try & Install Avast 5 on my system but it crashed so I decided to move over to Avira Anti-Virus which was a bit sad because I actually liked Avast, I would stay with v4 but I guess they will stop supporting that version so I have to move with the times.

I have been a user of avast for about 5 years plus, and till today i do not find any anti virus better than avast.The update's keep getting and better and avast 5 know's exactly what avast user like about avast and have added a lot of new functions, and they also have a suite that they did not have earlier.complete package.I have used norton,mcafee,avg,comodo,nod32­, pc tools, trend micro, kaspersky and more but still nothing beat's avast.btw this is my own personal opinion every 1 has their's.

Yes, I was not using Avast at the time I made the video. Only the behavior shield is new.

Comodo has awful anti virus, but their D+ is one of the most awesome programs ever. Check your task manager in D+. There is malware running?

I'm going to have to also say that I did work on a computer that had comodo and when I did run Malwarebytes on the machine it came up with Hopsurf or whatever it is called as adware. BUT I know comodo is a trusted, very well designed av/firewall/behavior analysis so what I believe this to be is just a False Positive. I'll talk to the malwarebytes ppl about this just so this war will be over lol. Really, Comodo is great if it's your bag.

Agent349, the comodo toolbar isn't malware/adware related, its an option to install, its up to you if you like it, if you dont you can always disable/uninstall it, thus not considering it as malware related.

comodo is not in anway RELATED nor associated with malware.

Comodo got an issue about the hopsurf toolbar, and its an adware. i think, but comodo is a great product, it's your choice to download the toolbar though...

...is Avast 4.8 didn't do so hot against -adware- so if you do decide to make another review video of the "done" Avast 5.0 you should throw some -adware- at it. My guess is it'll get by all the regular shields and get caught by the behavior shield. Nice reviews. Just thought I should say that.

Comodo is actually a great antivirus/firewall/behavior analysis program.  Just ask everyone who uses it. It's not my bag but I have used it. I'm here because I too used the 2 beta's of Avast 5.0 and with both of them: No Behavior shield!! Either beta had this. I think this deserves one more chance when Avast 5.0 is out for everyone. The zero day might get caught with the behavior shield. That will make the difference hopefully. Another thing to watch...

HopSurf is a comodo made product. Get your facts straight. Comodo is not associated with malware. HopSurf is not malicious, it is actually good if you like that kind of thing.

it's amazing, i tested it against one zero day malware, and it stopped it. it was a crazy piece of malware, based on previous encounters with it. however, BSOD came up, avast quarantined it, and the pc auto restarts, all cleaned. sooo, yeeeah.

It isn't completely worth testing now. They don't have some features working and the signature database is not complete. That is why I didn't test it yet.
